Tips To Enjoy Your Tour to New York & Activities

Pickup points and pickup times…
There can be traffic in paradise. Pickup and drop off times are approximations. Please arrive at the pickup location 10-15 minutes prior to pickup. Allow for traffic conditions and high volume pickup points.

Safety first…
Your safety and comfort are our #1 priority. Tour highlights are subject to change without notice and may vary at tour driver discretion in order to take into account National Park Services advisories, weather advisories, traffic advisories, road closures and detours, venue hours of operation, etc..

What to wear…
  • Give your feet a vacation too. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
  • Some like it hot, some like it cold. Guests ride aboard our spacious, air-conditioned vehicles. Please dress comfortably.

  • Our islands feature many of the climate zones in the world. From desert lavascapes to tropical rainforest and shoreline beaches to snow on the peaks of volcanoes, weather is unpredictable. A light sweater or jacket is recommended especially during visits to Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island, Haleakala Crater on Maui, upcountry Kula on Maui and Waimea Canyon on Kauai.
  • Suntan is good; sunburn is not. Bring sun block and wear sun protective clothing like a hat.
Natural features/phenomena
Such as sunrise, sunset, waterfalls, and volcano flows are uncontrollable.
We cannot guarantee the sighting of any natural features/phenomena.

COMFORT. QUALITY. BEYOND WAIKIKI
BRING A CAMERA & HAVE FUN!!!
When visiting Pearl Harbor

Security exists for your safety. Due to stringent security requirements at the USS Arizona Memorial and Visitor Center, bags, purses, and strollers are not allowed. Cameras are permitted. Storage is available at the USS Bowfin for a nominal fee. Wait times to board the boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial may vary; duration to explore the visitor center and gift shops may be affected.

If you’re on a One Day Tour (Island Hopping)…
Every island is unique, but every airport is the same. Keep your government-issued photo ID handy. Your name on your photo ID must match the name you provided at booking. Avoid wearing clothing, jewelry and accessories that contain metal. Metal items may set-off metal detector alarms at airport screening. Shoes that are easy to take off and put on hasten the screening process. Place items in your carry-on baggage or in a plastic bag prior to entering the screening checkpoint (mobile phones, keys, loose change, money clips, etc.). Flight times may vary and are subject to change without notice. While it rarely happens, in case of airport delays, bring any evening medication.

When visiting the Big Island
Take notice of Pele’s power. Tour features can change daily as we cannot predict weather and lava viewing conditions. We do not guarantee sighting of lava flows. Surface lava flows may be present but may not be visible due to environmental conditions or time constraints. Passengers with asthma or other respiratory problems should consider Roberts Hawaii Big Island Grand Circle Island tour to avoid potential health problems from sulfur gases emitted from volcano. If conditions permit, walking/hiking on rough, uneven lava surfaces is involved. Wear sturdy, covered walking shoes. Weather is unpredictable. Anticipate both sun and rain conditions. Lunch is available for cash purchases. Don’t touch the lava!

Preparing for Back Roads...
Off the beaten path can mean walking through gardens and farm fields. Wear comfortable shoes, sunblock and sun-protective clothing. Operation is contingent on
meeting minimum passenger count.

If you’re on a Haleakala tour...
Weather on top of the world can be unpredictable. Anticipate sun, rain and wind conditions. In the event of snow, tour may be limited to Haleakala Visitor Center only. Limited view during cloudy conditions. Dress warmly for the summit. Please note time difference in start time and pickup times.
Tour starts one hour later during January through June.

A word about Fern Grotto...
If paradise is under repair at Fern Grotto, we will make a stop at Paradise Garden.
